Pros and cons of Penny Arcade's On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 app for iPhone and iPad

Penny Arcade's On The Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 app good for

Old style gameplay that kinda is like final fantasy but more affordable and has witty dialogue. Great game! If you enjoyed Precipice 1+2 you will definitely enjoy 3!
Penny Arcade. Turn based 16 bit Rpg. What is not to love? Class features are very cool, dialogue is hilarious, battles are dynamic, all in all 2.99 well spent. Frankly Id have spent more on this easily.
Ive just begun playing it, but I really like what Ive seen so far. Strong writing - better than anything Square has made in recent years, with turn based combat thats a bit final fantasy, chrono trigger and call of cthulhu rolled into one (and some mechanics Ive never seen before. Gaining magic each combat round is a nice twist on old systems. Music is done well, though I wish the characters appeared larger in combat on my iphone 4s. Thankfully, its universal. Well worth the cash.
Funny, interesting story. Fun game but the controls will make you want to cry.
The same great writing and story telling is present. They use the 16-bit format well and I was really impressed with their take on the job system, really keeps things moving and interesting.
Such an amazing game!!!! Ive been looking 100 times my updates for the new DLC to come out. Thanks for your amazing games. SAdly, PoD episode 4 will not be available for iphones:(

Some bad moments

Great game and it feels at home on iOS but why no iCloud support. A universal app like this is screaming for iCloud saved games!
Great story, great gameplay. The best RPG Ive ever played. Bravo! Please make more.
After deleting and loading game works without bugs. Yay dark(ish) humor.
One of the most under-appreciated rpg series in history!! Really, really needs icloud support, though. 5 humongous stars for icloud support!!
This game has some of the best writing ever, its like Im reading a non-stop Penny Arcade comic. IMO a top 5 RPG for sure. Amazing music, like the old days of FFVI and Chrono Trigger. Yea its 1GB, clean your phone out once in awhile, its worth deleting your crappy old games for.
I suppose all Id wish for were more options in weaponry and maybe a timer, so I know how many hours Ive spent playing this masterwork. The class system is unique and smart and I also enjoyed the magic system, though Id like to be able to caster larger spells slightly more often with my casters, even if it required grinding or some purchase I had to save up for. Overall, great story with great writing, if youre into PAs style. I have to say this drew me in more than Cthulu, but that may be because of my 10 year connection with PA and its cast of characters. Kudos, Mike and Jerry. Youve really outdone yourselves this time. Thanks also to Zeboyd and Tinkerhouse Games for making this possible and creating such a fluid, perfect vehicle for a narrative.
